A native of Central Pennsylvania, Matt got his acting start at age five with a church production in his hometown of Steelton. And, he jokes, has been “working” ever since.
A proud member of SAG/AFTRA, Matt has worked on numerous film and television productions in Los Angeles and throughout California. In addition to acting, Matt is also an accomplished improv performer, having studied at the prestigious “Groundlings” school in L.A., and performed for years with the Central Valley’s “Will Work for Food Players.”
When not on set or behind the keyboard working on his next screenplay, Matt continues to work as a professional news anchor. After earning his Journalism degree from Penn State University in 1997, Matt has worked in both TV and Radio news steadily since then.
He currently resides in California’s Central Valley with his wife and their beloved German shepherd.
